More Quaking Going On!!

Anyone in for an earthquake today?!!!! Wow, two fairly significant quakes but a Pacific ocean apart - a 7.0 at/near Vanuatu,which is a bit east of Australia and a 6.6 in the "Northeastern Pacific Rise", which is near the southern coast of Mexico.

The quake near Mexico seems to be on/near the fault line that runs up the western coast of U.S.! However quakes might interact for possible predictions, I do wonder if either of these, or both, can have any relationship to California/Oregon quake possibilities?? I haven't seen any news on these yet, so I don't know about any possibilities of tsunamis/etc.

Actually, the total number of quakes 2.5+ this year are running about half the number that were occurring about this time last year.
