The very idea that this backward, corrupt nation with an economy of 12% of the US becoming the most important nation on earth sounds insane.  However, recall the power and influence of tiny England in leading a global empire - it's not impossible!

They have oil. More than that, they have WATER. (see above). Unlike almost any nation on earth, they have low debt. Their agriculture will be GMO-free (by decree).  They are piling up gold.  They have improving leadership (unlike EU and US).  They have advanced technology - sometimes second to none.

And ..... if Eurasia comes to dominate the world of trade, they will span the whole landmass, as the 'man in the middle'.   If NeoCons haven't crapped their pants thinking about this, they are dumber than anyone thinks.

no one can compete with china. their  brains to brawn coefficient is too high.

the threat is chinas desperation for resources to support a mob of inf8nty turning on them. that will get harder as world economy slows down. thats reason for near time war, i suspect, they are esculating it in stages so as not to freak anybody out. a 911 would not get backing today, has to be in stages. the usa and europe in same boat but russia sitting back smiling. but he cant afford expansionism. but he can afford detrimental defense.
i suspect cannabalism soon in china, our defense is china has to buy grain from us. if we run out from bad weather, things could change.

This has just emerged today.  Sputnik News is full of headlines coming from their St. Petersburg economic meeting about EU leaders discussing free trade ideas with Russia and the EEU. If I was a US Neo Con, I'd be wetting my pants. If this leads to a breakthrough, US dominance of the world could be broken.

I favor world peace by this means - and the possibility of Disclosure once US ability to obstruct it is ended.

Exactly.  Germans are responding to the insanity being pushed by the US or their vassals.  Russian news also reports that the US is having a tough time getting Europe to contribute to being a hostile force on Russia's border in Poland.

Could we see the balance of power in Europe shift suddenly? I wonder.
