Another article of some interest, but not yet "vetted"!! Cameras were seeing an "incoming" that seemed to stop - that is when NASA shut it down!! May turn out to be nothing at all......................!

From the video, I did take a screenshot of it just as it stopped before it would have gone out of sight into the atmosphere, if it continued - but it "does stop" in the video!

The incident caused speculation online - and is not the first time NASA have been accused of tampering with the feed.

UFO spotters have raised the alarm after the International Space Station live feed cut out just as a large mysterious object appeared to enter Earth's atmosphere.

The incident occurred on July 9 and was first reported by prolific UFO hunter Streetcap1 in a video uploaded the same day.

The enthusiast did not directly imply that the object was an alien spacecraft saying: "This could well be a meteor or the like.

But he implied that the camera being turned off was slightly sinister: "What made it interesting was that the camera cut off when the UFO seemed to stop."

Other enthusiasts put forward theories including one who suggested in could be the Chinese space cargo ship Tiangong-1.

Since UT's are CLASSIFIED... it would seem only natural for NASA to cut live feed of any UT :P

(if you don't know what a UT is you haven't been reading Karl12's threads :P )

"UT" doesn't ring any bells with me - and there are just too many words with "ut" in doing a total search of Karl 12 posts. I also tried searching on just subject posts by Karl 12, and there are none having UT specifically!  :o .........  ;) ????

Ron blew the alphabet soup on this one, , , ,

, , , , ,   It's called an "UTR"

Quote"NORAD uses the term "Unknown Track Report" (UTR) for events within our atmosphere and the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) uses the term "Uncorrelated Events" for objects in space. UTR's are considered sensitive and are not releasable to the public.

UTR = atmospheric items
UCT = space based items

Well, here is NASA's response to this "event" - "MOVE ALONG, NOTHING HERE"!

Of course that could be, but, to me, their response sounds just a bit too canned - "As for the 'object,' it's very common for things like the moon, space debris, reflections from station windows, the spacecraft structure itself or lights from Earth to appear as artifacts in photos and videos from the orbiting laboratory."

To me, it seems pretty obvious in the video that "the object" is none of these things mentioned. Also, while directional perspective with space cameras is a bit difficult, this "object" does seem to be in a direct vertical downward decent to Earth path, which to me would be a bit odd if this were simply orbiting space debris. One would think that " orbiting space debris" would be moving more horizontally around the Earth, even if on a course to ground impact - wouldn't it??

Did cameras on the International Space Station see a UFO? (Article has same video as is posted in OP)
