Reporters covering Bill Clinton today in Pennsylvania were barred from getting too close to the ex-president in the wake of the news that the FBI would again be investigating his wife's emails.

At his second campaign stop of the day, in the Blair County town of Duncansville, the media was stuffed in the back of the room behind an intricate set of metal gates and velvet ropes, with minders escorting reporters if they wanted to step up closer and get a picture of Clinton onstage.

The former president has not addressed the FBI investigation nor has a spokesman returned an email about the developing situation, which could turn campaign 2016 on its head yet again.

Clinton campaign fires back, demands details on new emails following FBI letter:

John Podesta, chair of Hillary Clinton's campaign, demanded that FBI Director James Comey release details on new emails the agency discovered related to the Clinton case.

"The Director owes it to the American people to immediately provide the full details of what he is now examining. We are confident this will not produce any conclusions different from the one the FBI reached in July," Podesta said in a statement.

Clinton was mum Friday afternoon about a renewed FBI probe of her emails as she began speaking at a campaign rally in Iowa.

Podesta added that "it is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election."

It is also being reported that Julian Assange and WikiLeaks have been playing a major role in this, as well.

As we know, WikiLeaks has been releasing emails from Hillary's campaign chairman, John Podesta, for weeks now. Rumors on online forums have indicated that Anonymous hackers released thousands of emails to both WikiLeaks and the FBI in order to use a multifaceted approach to fully exposing Hillary Clinton.

Hackers are leaking everything they have on Hillary Clinton now so that all of the new information is fresh on the minds of voters that will cast their ballots in less than two weeks.

The attack has worked because it has forced the liberal media to cover all of this, too.

Freedom is never free. We are free to speak as long as we have nothing important to say. Julian Assange is the perfect example of this.

If Assange was lying, why are Democrats trying so hard to silence him? A guy hiding in the Ecuadorean Embassy is doing more for the truth this election than all of the American press, and rumors are swirling that his time may have expired.

The Democratic Coalition Against Trump released a statement announcing their complaint:

The Democratic Coalition Against Trump filed a complaint with the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility on Friday against FBI Director James Comey for interfering in the Presidential election, following the FBI's decision to open up an investigation into Secretary Clinton's emails this close to Election Day. Federal employees are forbidden from participating in political activities under the Hatch Act.

"It is absolutely absurd that FBI Director Comey would support Donald Trump like this with only 11 days to go before the election," said Scott Dworkin, Senior Advisor to the Democratic Coalition Against Trump. "It is an obvious attack from a lifelong Republican who used to serve in the Bush White House, just to undermine her campaign. Comey needs to focus on stopping terrorists and protecting America, not investigating our soon to be President-Elect Hillary Clinton."

Outrage is growing over Comey's actions as details about the FBI investigation have revealed that it has nothing to do with Clinton, her emails, or her server.

Director Comey's motives for sending the letter 11 days before a presidential election have been questioned by both Republicans and Democrats.

That's what I think is the most strange part in this whole case, as in reality the FBI is interfering with the election. Sure, it's a federal criminal investigation, but, as in all other situations, I'm sure they thought about the consequences before publishing their intentions.
