If that's what it is I would think that's a glitch as the newsletter is being issued by an Admin. That should override that setting.

I am researching that issue now; unfortunately, I can select groups to send to, but not individual members...

Zorgon and Armap are the SMF gurus so perhaps they will have the answers...

It does appear that the box to receive email from members must be checked in order for the forum software to send it...
The second test will be via pm and I will point out that that box must be checked in your profile settings in order to receive it...
