Independent.ie
News Video Thursday 26 January 2017

John Craddick, from Wolverhampton in the UK, claims he has never seen anything like it before.

I will go with the Oscar Meyer Weiner!! :) .........Actually, in the video, this UFO seems to approach the ISS, sit stationary for a while, and then move directly away from the ISS at speed and into darkness. Of course, the size of the UFO is not really known, and we have no way of knowing its distance from the ISS when it stops its approach. What we see of it is with the curvature of the Earth in the background.

On 2nd thought Seeker, probably the most accurate options is d.), "we don't have a blooming clue"!

It looks like a reflection to me, and even it's movement appears to be connected to the movement of the shadows of the parts of the ISS we see.

Infuriating isn't it.

Yes it could be debris.  It could be a reflection.  It could be something classified of US military which would explain the cutting of feeds (Oberg has hinted at that explanation before).  It could be Russian or Chinese.  But it could be "THEM"!

>:(

Hummm _ I so far don't see the ISS shadow movements that you mention. Of course, "reflection" would be the most easy assumption to make, wouldn't it? "Reflection from where" answer might not be so easy to answer.

It is interesting that as we see this "feature" in the video, every aspect of it goes through visible change - changing in size, configuration, and color. Maybe that is a common aspect of some reflections?? Seems a bit odd in what we can see in this video, as the below photos reflect.......

Can you see it in the animation below?

That depends, was that your assumption? :)

Quote"Reflection from where" answer might not be so easy to answer.
There's always one possibility, the camera's lens, but I was trying to avoid using the "l-word", "lens flare". :)

It is common with reflections, refractions and shadows, when the light source or the object reflecting or refracting the light or the object that is casting the shadow or the one that gets the shadow cast on itself moves. In this case we have the ISS moving at a relatively high speed (one orbit every 92 minutes), so the Sun makes a full circle around it every 92 minutes.

PS: it looks like nobody noticed the second "UFO" on the right. :)
