they are scared now because the repubs already have congress. if they get the presidency as well, oh boy. 
problem is, if there's a bunch o' those roman guys in there.  they are historically hard core fascist socialists, where a handful of people get everything, step down one rung, and these people get parts of that "everything"  based on good behavior. step down one rung, and these people are everyone else, who get what's left over, which usually isn't much.  there's no smooth gradually increase, based on your own effort, but rather, eh, if they feel like being nice.

I believe Reagan presided over a demorat house and senate and he seemed to get things done. It's just now we have sooo many liberal demorats that they'd rather see a move to communism as a good thing. There's no such thing as a conservative demorat.

How does a socialized medical system translate into communism?

Most civilized nations in Europe and the old Commonwealth have such a system. And they are not communist.

It doesn't even have to be free. When I was working in Canada I paid $11.00 a week into that system... I have no problem with AFFORDABLE health care

Right now though despite paying for it all my working life here in the US and never needing it... now when I do need it it's "Oh sorry... all that doesn't count... you don't have any coverage today so sorry your shit out of luck... unless your an illegal... then we could do something for you."

The smartest ting a kid could do these days is put all the money he/she would pay on work plans into some sort of trust fund and make payments.  That way it will be there when they need it  and if they don't they will have a nice chunk of change at the end

A few years ago I had a major hernia  cost 35,000.00 plus miscellaneous fees that kept coming. Fortunately at the time I had good coverage and took advantage of t to have it done and my wife's knees before we lost it again

Sure enough not long after the job increased the number of hours needed to qualify... from 86 a month to 120 a month (at a time went the economy made it so N ONE save a few top execs made those hours) and took away the bank (saved extra hours from peak months)  So effectively no one in the industry currently has any coverage, even though the employers still pay into the fund for every hour we work

So now my hernia has popped out again... can't really sue because there is no guarantee on this... and  am effectively screwed for now

As long as the private companies dictate the health care  and don't allow free services like Saint John's Ambulance to operate... the American health system is a travesty and a shame.... We are supposed to be #1 country in the world and yet we cannot keep out citizens healthy

Back in Canada one province made Car Insurance socialized.  It worked great... because there was a no fault clause so no law suits on stupid stuff to drive the costs up.  You simply took the ar in and they paid for actual damages not the extra lawyer "pain and emotional" crap that just makes lawyers rich.

Here the government says its ILLEGAL to drive without insurance... well then they should offer a cheap coverage too and not just have issued a licence to gouge us to private insurance companies

This is still a free country, where we can vote as we wish. We all need to get informed, and really know what to expect from each person we decide to vote for. 

And "getting informed" will never come from political attack ads, and nor will much real information come from the main Stream Media. But, if we try, we can find people and places with information, that we can have confidence in, to help us in our voting decisions.

Get informed about what exactly? when both Rebubican and Democrat are members of Skull and Bones and/or the Bilderberg club... then what more do you need to know?

Zorry Zorg, but yes they are, hate to disagree with you but socialised  medicine is a form of communism..The problem is Hmo's and health plans, so much overhead it's not funny. When I was younger my dad took me to the emergency room with internal bleeding in my arm. My dad was a poor working man and couldn't pay the doc. The doc worked out a plan so my dad could pay him back...no middle men, no insurance forms...ahh those were the days...

when they start telling a John Lear or a John Fountain, you're too old for this treatment because you're on your way out soon (as they do in Europe because it's not cost effective) then you might understand.

Nope! This type of brainwashing mostly happens on the basis of "ignorance", as people are uninformed, and just don't know any better.

But yes, what the Democrats/far left has said for years, and is saying now in every type of media they have access to, could be referred to as attempts to "brainwash" Americans into thinking BIG GOVERNMENT IS GOOD, AND IS NEEDED FOR THE GOOD OF ALL PEOPLE. --------AND THAT EVERYTHING THE REPUBLICANS, CONSERVATIVES, AND FAR RIGHT STAND FOR IS WRONG, UGLY, AND WILL CAUSE CERTAIN EARLY DEATH.

And that is about as far from the truth as you can get. No, Republicans/Conservatives are not the same as Democrats/far left - not even close.

There may be some clandestined long-term attempt(s) to violate the original intent of America, by some group(s), but that won't happen, if we are able to re-take Conservative control of our government, and start reversing the huge negatives implemented by the current administration.

Major reductions in the size and reach of the federal government is absolutely necessary. Major changes in our energy programs is absolutely necessary, including pretty much doing away with the Energy Department. Major changes in the "Federal" involvement in education is absolutely necessary - return it back to the states. ETC! ETC! ETC!

No Bilderberg, nor any other entity(s) can take the U.S. down, unless we allow it out of ignorance. And, learning from mistakes, that is exactly the kind of ignorance that got this current president elected. And we are really beginning to suffer for it ------ and that suffering has only just begun, if we can't make the necessary changes in November.
