A challenge - Any takers, I wonder? ;)

I will admit that after the recent article on Billy Meier, I'm feeling seriously pugnacious at the moment, where ET are concerned.  I have no idea of whether or not they have any way of hearing this, but earlier this morning I mentally made the decision that if I don't get some sort of fairly earthshattering contact experience within the next 72 hours, I'm going to ignore ufology as an entire topic for the foreseeable future.

I'm just tired of all of this talk about it, when for me at the moment at least, it is all purely hypothetical.  So I'm formally giving any (positive) aliens that might be remotely aware of me, an ultimatum; guys, if you can hear me, it's time to put up or shut up. ;)

I know, I know; I'm going to get the usual response of, "Who on Earth are you to be so arrogant, as to presume that you can demand anything from them?"  To that, my answer is that it depends solely on whether or not they care that I know that they exist.  If they don't care about that, then they won't show up; and truthfully, I'm fairly confident that they won't.  I am, however, seriously daring them to prove me wrong.

We'll see whether or not they're game. ;)

lol.. oh petrus...that's a great challenge
but i have a question for you..well many questions

have you pigeon-holed aliens into your own concept?
really if you can define ET..you loose..my opinion, of course

would you recognize an encounter if it doesn't fit your ideas of what it should be?

are you completely open to what comes after such a meeting?..especially if it is
not to your liking..

and can you be confident that it wasn't all in your imagination if it did happen?

how truly open are you to the meeting of your challenge?

i won't go to wheather or not you are arrogant..we already have that answer ;)
but i will awiat the end to your 72 hours...
but what if they don't go by time..do you have an alternative summoning mechanism parameter?

sooooooo many holes in that challenge..but i am wishing you much luck and success cause i
would luv to hear what happens..

Well could you please carry a flaming camera at all times during the next 72 hours, Petrus?  Just for me. :)

I don't have a camera, unfortunately. ;)

As for whether I'm sufficiently open minded or not; the only condition I've stipulated is that they be what Ra referred to as Service to Others polarised; at least to whatever meagre extent that I am myself.  Assuming that said categorisation exists (and I've never seen any reason to assume that it doesn't) that should hopefully not put too much of a limitation on them.

Of course, yes; vaguely humanoid at least would be preferred, although probably not strictly essential...however I'd definitely prefer to avoid arachnoids or things resembling giant bugs if at all possible, as well.  Truthfully, I'd also strongly prefer to avoid visible saurians/reptilians/dracoforms, as well; even if they are part of an STO/positive faction.  Cue paternalistic reprimand from Zorgon... ;)

I was told by one professed psychic at one point, around two years ago, that the Sirians supposedly had an interest in getting in touch with me, when I was developmentally ready in their view of course; so they are actually the group that I'd specifically like to hear from.  If any others want to contact me instead, however, I'm willing.

God, Satan, Angels, Demons, D'jinn, Pleadians, Reptilians, Greys anything not of this Earth :P

Any or all of the above will do...  just send us an email :P

Over at ATS many people claimed they were in constant touch with aliens... so I asked them all if their friends could give me a quick lift up to the moon to have a look myself...

no one ever stepped forward :P

what i meant was that if you have a concrete image you may miss the real thing

Petrus, no camera is a bit of a limitation. Can't you borrow one for 72 hours? (Try to borrow one with image stabilsation (AKA VR) so that even if your hands are shaking, there's a chance that you'll get the shot).

As for the so-called UFO hotspots, how hard would it be really to point a half decent video camera up at the sky linked to one of those security recorders with the motion sensing?

In fact one could get a 16 channel DVR and another 15 cameras and have a proper go at it...
You could really stake out area51 that way too.

Good luck with your mission!

According to Lou Baldin, they can only be seen if they want to be seen. In the beginning of his book "A Day With an Extraterrestrial" he mentions how he was the only one who could see the craft in the woods, all the other joggers and walkers could not, the alien told him as much! Petrus, as you know, if you have an Android or iPhone, then you've got a camera already.

I hope they take you up on your ultimatum, best of luck!

Have you thought of the possibility of UFOs (and Ufology) not being related to Extraterrestrials? You could end up ignoring ufology because of an unrelated non-event.

No, I didn't actually think of that, I admit it.  Then again, if I did start to ignore ufology, do you think I'd be missing much?

I've started to get the feeling that if I was to ignore it, pretty much the only thing I'd be missing out on, is various con artists attempting to extract money from people. ;)
