Anonymous Operation Israel - Press Release

Thursday - November 15, 2012 2:00 AM ET USA

Greetings World --

For far to long, Anonymous has stood by with the rest of the world and watched in despair the barbaric, brutal and despicable treatment of the Palestinian people in the so called "Occupied Territories" by the Israel Defense Force.

Like so many around the globe, we have felt helpless in the face of such implacable evil. And today's insane attack and threatened invasion of Gaza was more of the same.

But when the government of Israel publicly threatened to sever all Internet and other telecommunications into and out of Gaza they crossed a line in the sand. As the former dictator of Egypt Mubarack learned the hard way - we are ANONYMOUS and NO ONE shuts down the Internet on our watch.

To the IDF and government of Israel we issue you this warning only once.

Do NOT shut down the Internet into the "Occupied Territories", and cease and desist from your terror upon the innocent people of Palestine or you will know the full and unbridled wrath of Anonymous.

And like all the other evil governments that have faced our rage, you will NOT survive it unscathed.

To the people of Gaza and the "Occupied Territories", know that Anonymous stands with you in this fight.

We will do everything in our power to hinder the evil forces of the IDF arrayed against you. We will use all our resources to make certain you stay connected to the Internet and remain able to transmit your experiences to the world.

As a start, we have put together the Anonymous Gaza Care Package - http://bit.ly/XH87C5 - which contains instructions in Arabic and English that can aid you in the event the Israel government makes good on it's threat to attempt to sever your Internet connection.

It also contains useful information on evading IDF surveillance, and some basic first aid and other useful information.

We will continue to expand and improve this document in the coming days, and we will transmit it to you by every means at our disposal. We encourage you to download this package, and to share it with your fellow Palestinians to the best of your ability.

We will be with you. No matter how dark it may seem, no matter how alone and abandoned you may feel - know that tens of thousands of us in Anonymous are with you and working tirelessly around the clock to bring you every aid and assistance that we can.

We Are Anonymous

We Are Everywhere

We Are Legion

We Do Not Forgive

We Do Not Forget

To the oppressors of the innocent Palestinian people, it is to late to EXPECT US

From the New York Times:

Anonymous Attacks Israeli Web Sites - NYTimes.com

QuoteRadware, an Israel-based DDoS centered computer security corporation stated that most of the attacks against Israeli websites were unsuccessful, according to the New York Times.Radware also argued that Anonymous used twitter to recruit volunteers who would then go on to use the Low Orbit Ion Cannon (LOIC), a rather antiquated tool used in DDoS attacks when a large number of individual users attack a single website instead of a botnet.

In a message posted on Pastebin, the hackers said:

QuoteAnonymous does not support violence by the I.D.F. or by Palestinian Resistance/Hamas. Our concern is for the children of Israel and Palestinian Territories and the rights of the people in Gaza to maintain open lines of communication with the outside world.

Greetings World:

We were recently bounced offline by a 9,587,352.9 TB Denial of Service (DOS) attack ...

For those in Rio Linda, that's

9 million, 585 thousand, 3 hundred 52 point 9 TERABYTES.

QuoteHitachi began selling 1-terabyte hard drives to consumers in 2007.

A one terabyte drive can hold:
   >   472 hours of broadcast quality video.
   >   150 hours of hi-definition recording.
   >   Enough words that it would take every adult in America speaking at the same time five minutes to say them all.

According to futurist Raymond Kurzwell is "The Singularity is Near," the capacity of a human being's functional memory is estimated to be 1.25 terabytes.

Definition of TERABYTE
> 1024 gigabytes or 1,099,511,627,776 bytes; also : one trillion bytes

To put it in some perspective, a Terabyte could hold about 3.6 million 300 Kilobyte images or maybe about 300 hours of good quality video.

A Terabyte could hold 1,000 copies of the Encyclopedia Britannica.

Ten Terabytes could hold the printed collection of the Library of Congress.

Nine and a half million Terabytes could hold quite a few printed collections of the Library of Congress.

A 9.5 million TB DOS attack is a respectable amount of data, so we will consider this another glove across our collective countenance, shrug it off and and consider game on.
This is no kid with a laptop...

Wonder who it might be?    :o    ::)    :P

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) blog was one of many websites hacked by Anonymous.

Israel faces 44 million attacks on websites in response to Gaza offensive — RT

QuoteThe Israeli government has become a victim of cyber-warfare attacks since Operation Pillar of Defense began four days ago. On Saturday, hacktivist group Anonymous launched a massive attack on over 700 Israeli websites.

The country's finance minister has acknowledged the recent wave of attacks, saying the government is now waging a war on a "second front."

Over the past four days, Israel has "deflected 44 million cyber-attacks on government websites," Israeli Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz told AP.

Steinitz said the government has come up with a backup for "essential websites," should they be taken down by hackers.

"This is an unprecedented attack, and our success has been greater than we anticipated,"
he said.

QuoteHe did not say who was responsible for the hacking attempts. He also declined to disclose which countries the attacks were coming from.

His comments come just one day after hacktivist group Anonymous launched a massive attack on almost 700 Israeli websites, calling the campaign #OpIsrael.

The group took down the Israeli president's official website and the blog of the country's Defense Force, www.idfblog.com. The collective posted the news on Twitter using their infamous #TANGO DOWN hashtag. The blog is still down.

Americans have held protests against the Israeli deadly violence on Gaza. (File photo)

18 November 2012 7:23 PM GMT

PressTV - Americans protest against Israeli violence on Gaza

Americans across the country have staged daily protests against Israeli airstrikes and deadly violence on the Gaza Strip since November 14.

"If any other country in the world other than Israel did what they're doing in Gaza today, it would be called war crimes," said a protester in Fort Lauderdale, Anas Amireh, adding, "When you take it to the United Nations, the whole world stands with you and it's vetoed by the United States."

On Saturday, Fort Lauderdale's daily newspaper Sun Sentinel reported a crowd of 150 individuals protesting across the Federal Courthouse and expressing their fear for Israeli invasion of Gaza.

"[Israelis] claim self-defense. You can't really claim self-defense when you're occupying the country to begin with," said activist Nadine Aly.

On Friday, CBS covered a protest held in New York near the Israeli Consulate, in which protesters shouted and waved signs calling for an end to the deadly violence by Israeli forces.

NBC also reported hundreds of protesters marching and chanting "Free, Free Palestine," in Chicago on Thursday, which ended outside President Barack Obama's 2012 campaign headquarters. The activists also protested at the Obama Administration's continued support of Israel.

QuoteAccording to Britain's Sunday Times, Israeli special forces are already on the ground in Gaza seeking out rockets and weapons for targeting. The Times is also reporting that Hamas may place chemical weapons on its long-range missiles.

"Hamas might go for a desperate attempt to launch rockets with chemical warheads if the worst came to the worst," one unnamed source reported.

On a giant television screen at air force headquarters in Tel Aviv, Amir Eshel, its commander, supervised the operation. He gave the order: 'Kill the bastard.' At 3.55pm the drone operators hit the kill button. The Kia burst into flames as two missiles hit the car. Jabari and a son who was with him died on the spot.

That would be a game changer.

Consider this:

QuoteHezbollah may be the militant organization in the region that could most effectively utilize Syrian chemical munitions. The group possesses a large inventory of artillery rockets, which could be used to deliver the type of barrage attack required for a successful chemical weapon attack.

Rumors have been swirling around the region for many months that Libyan rebels sold some chemical munitions to Hezbollah and Hamas.

While we have seen confirmed reports that man-portable air-defense systems and other Libyan weapons are being smuggled into Sinai en route to Gaza, there has been no confirmation that chemical rounds are being smuggled out of Libya. source

'Israel knowingly targeted the media' – RT reporter in Gaza

The crew of RT's Arabic-language sister channel Rusiya Al-Yaum barely escaped death as Israeli rockets targeted the media center in Gaza and destroy the building where they work.

An Israeli airstrike on a media compound in Gaza city injured at least six journalists, one of whom lost his leg, Palestinian medical officials say.

RT Arabic correspondent Saed Suerki said four missiles hit their office building. One of them came through the roof, reached the 10th floor, destroying everything in its path – including the equipment of al-Quds TV, a channel Israel accuses of spreading Hamas propaganda.

Live Updates: Massive Strike on Terror Targets in Gaza

Operation Pillar of Defense: Summary of Events
Published on:
November 22, 2012

On November 14, in response to incessant rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip, the IDF launched a widespread campaign against terror targets in Gaza. The operation, called Pillar of Defense, had two main goals: cripple terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and defend Israelis living under fire. Here's a summary of the events which took place during the operation.

The operation opened when the IDF surgically targeted Ahmed Jabari, head of Hamas' military wing in the Gaza Strip. Jabari was directly responsible for executing terror attacks against Israel in the past.

During the next eight days, the IDF targeted more than 1,500 terror sites across the Gaza Strip. The sites that were targeted were positively identified by precise intelligence over the course of several months, including:

Top-ranking Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists who were targeted included:
   >   Ahmed Jabari, head of Hamas' military wing – targeted on November 14
   >   Hab's Hassan Us Msamch, senior operative in Hamas' police – targeted on November 15
   >   Ahmed Abu Jalal, Commander of the military wing in Al-Muazi – targeted on November 16
   >   Khaled Shaer, senior operative in the anti-tank operations – targeted on November 16
   >   Osama Kadi, senior operative in the smuggling operations in the southern Gaza Strip – targeted on November 17
   >   Muhammad Kalb, senior operative in the aerial defense operations – targated on November 17
   >   Ramz Harb, Islamic Jihad senior operative in propaganda in Gaza city – targeted on November 19

For the first time ever — Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups fired long-range rockets, such as the Fajr-5, toward Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Though the IDF severely damaged the terrorist organizations' long-range rocket arsenal, more than 3.5 million Israelis are still under the threat of Hamas' rocket fire.

Hamas Rocket Threat Ranges Map

Throughout the operation, the IDF did everything that it could to minimize harm to civilians in Gaza.

Despite the IDF's warnings, Hamas urged Palestinian civilians in Gaza to ignore the IDF warnings.

During the eight days of the operation — and in the weeks leading up to it — life was unbearable for more than 3.5 million Israelis. From November 14 to November 21, Palestinian terrorist groups fired more than 1,506 rockets at Israel.

Of those 1,506 rockets fired from Gaza, more than 800 rockets struck Israel, damaging homes, schools and other civilian areas. Some of rockets reached the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem areas.

421 rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome, which saved countless Israeli lives. 152 rockets fired from Gaza crashed back into Gaza.

Despite the IDF's best efforts to protect everyone in Israel, five Israeli civilians were killed due to rocket fire, while an additional 240 Israeli civilians were injured. In addition, Cpl. Yosef Fartuk, 18, from Emmanuel, was killed on November 20 by a rocket fired from Gaza into Israel.

Since Hamas seized power in the Gaza Strip in 2007, the terrorist group has turned the coastal area into a forward base for Iran. The IDF is determined to continue targeting sites that are used to carry out terror attacks against Israel and its citizens.
