Calling all Christians of the RC Faith - When well this Madness Stop?

Is it just the R/C faith that does this to childred or do all the rest of the faiths do it also and we just don't hear about it? There are several hundred faiths around...many childred go missing each year. I wonder if some of them end up on a sacrafice alter...Or on their knees praying to get out.

I believe you are right Deuem, but you won't hear anything about it on this site. Only the Catholic faith and from time to time, Jews, seem to get special attention. As I said earlier....

Of course it is not just the kiddie fiddling catholics that need to put their house in order. All organised religion is a scam.
Religion as i have said many times before ad nauseum, is a very simple and effective control construct, that feeds on fear ,and the base instinct inherant in all of us which is that of kinship.
Alignment if you will with the group, or the herd.

It works EXACTLY the same way that patriotism works.

No, it's not just the RC, but even some (too many) Christians seem to need a close enemy to point when things go wrong.

Where there is power, there are problems.

No religion accounts for alot of the worlds population and it is growing. Why no religion is on a chart for religion I have not got a clue. It would almost be better if there were a Number 22 that read "Don't Know". By putting it on the list it looks like it is a religion. I'm stumped on that one..
Christianity is dropping all over the world.
Islam is growing
And I wonder about Number 17, "Zoro" hum!

While sin is sin, whatever and wherever it is, yes, the Protestant Churches are very different from the Roman Catholic Church. I certainly no expert on the differences. I know their Bible has differences, and no, I can't speak to that either.

My thought relative to the "madness" is that the R/C Church organization, and its commitment to "celibacy" of the priesthood, makes it a more easy target for the evil that is in the world. Humans are designed to have sexual relations, between a man and a woman, and those resulting designed-in urges are normal functions. When there is absolutely no outlet for sexual relations, as is for the R/C priesthood...........................then the "madness" happens, at the hand of the "evil one" - easy and unprepared targets.

Of course, such can and does happen in other circumstances too, with men - but always at the hand of the evil one. A really big thing for all of us is, it is just so shocking to hear how wide-spread it apparently is in the Catholic priesthood. A very sick and disturbing situation - almost terroristic for the kids and families!!!

Elvis, thanks for your comments!! The OP subject matter is very real, but it is not so easy to openly discuss the details, particularly in an open forum, with so many different personal realities in life. But when it comes to mistreating and endangering the lives of children all over the world, in the R/C Church, I mean, wherein is our reality of "normal human life"?? It certainly is not in taking our kids to church to be sexually molested, and psychologically affected for life.

The outcry maybe needs to be for all Catholic parents to keep their kids out of and away from the "Catholic Church".  The kids are being so wrongfully used. And again, my comments are based upon the open news that has been available for a long long time. One difference now is, we know for fact that the Catholic priesthood at all levels has done everything necessary to keep it quite and under cover.

From what we see and read, the Roman Catholic Church is more about the organization of the Church, and the priesthood from the bottom up, to including the Pope and the Vatican, than it is about the PEOPLE. And that is very sad, as the Word is very clear, that the people of Christ/Christians are the Church.

To correct the "known madness", I would suggest for every Catholic Church to "fire" all Catholic clergy, including the Pope, and the people start talking to God directly, as that is what He wants anyway! Just get rid of all of them. That is the only way to be most certain about the desired outcomes. Yes, that would make a mess for the Catholics for a little while, but it instantly would take the kids out of any possibility of a continuing sexual harassment environment.

Could call such action "the 2013 Catholic Spring"! Nuff said, I guess!

One more thing - if I had been brought up in the Catholic Church, and was a Catholic up to these recent years, I couldn't get away from this mess fast enough!! Actually, I would have been out of it a long time before now!!! The madness is.............. only as the madness is allowed! To the R/C's, quit allowing it, and stop it totally and completely, whatever action that might take!!!!

There is no point taking side's in this matter when Children have been proven to be Systematically abused though a power structure within Power Structure's where they should never, EVER seen that Horror.

A Man or Woman of the Cloth place's their genitals in place's they should never have been inside.  In many case's a Grown Man will place their Penis inside the Bottom of a Young Boy for Sexual Pleasure.

If anyone has a problem with how I have described it, all I can say is sorry, as that is the truth.  Truth in the Church,  and Also truth in other Non-Chuch aspect's of life. 

The Church in Question though has a long history of this Very Matter.

Yes soma, that is balanced, and a LOT of words....................but, doesn't it seem that the wolf is still in charge of the hen-house?? In the hen house, it is ok for the roosters to be in charge, but when the wolves not only are allowed in, but are allowed to "feed on the chickens" (and on the roosters), the wolves will continue to get fat, as long as the chickens continue to live there.

You know, with this "problem", and the seemingly inability to resolve it, I am reminded of what we are now seeing with our U.S. Federal Government. No matter the problem, there is almost no one that steps up and claims responsibility, and especially not the President. Like right now, the IRS, and the many ways of its abuse that has been revealed - too big to fail, and nobody taking responsibility.

The people should be in charge - the Catholics in charge of the Catholic Church, all of the way up t the Vatican - and we the people, all of the way up to the President, and including the SCOTUS!

I would like to think we are all smart enough to figure out that there is a Systematic Plague in Religious Structure's, and especially the Roman Catholic Church.

This aint some game of "UFO's are real or not parlay".  This is hard Documented Evidence.

I do believe that the Christian or Islamic Religion have many great aspect's, along with some of the Buddhist teaching's.

Grown Up's... splaying kids with their love jewels is not Cool in any manner, and ESPECIALLY NOT COOL when it's done by those of the Cloth.

I listen to these discussion's on radio nearly every day, kinda keeps me balanced compared to the rant's and beef's on CT boards 

Yeah funny you mention that about they will do what they want.  I still believe and know action can change things which are silly, but it would appear they are slim picking's these day's. 

I found myself saying the other day that my vote doesn't count.... and that is scary dude
