i'd skip linking it to amazon when you do the radio circuit and do the pay pal thing where the book is on your server but not directly linked to it from the website, only from pay pal once the person buys the book.

Forget Amazon and Kindle and all that crap ..... some books are meant to be a printed item that can be held with the hands and read at leisure ... a printed book can be referred to .. and passed around .. re-read and digested.

E-books are disposable and do not carry the same gravitas as a written book.

In my humble opinion Amaterasu .... you should print 100 rough copies of your book together with some Illustrations and cover designs .... send these copies to all the known publishers of such material and also to other writers.

At the very least you will get some guidance and feedback.

I would forget Amazon .... unless you are already a best seller your book will drown in an ocean of other books ... you need to get noticed.

Getting noticed is achieved by arousing the interest of the publishers and writers who are established in the field.

You have nothing to lose but the price of paper and postage.

do they allow you to list it on other book sites as well?  if so, i would do so.  find alternative book sellers.  inquire.  but foremost, you have to get the word out on radio shows that are popular and have a following. do artworks of how you envision the future abundance paradigm and put them on your book's website, between paragraphs.  i'd bug the crap out of coast to coast to get on there.

Unknown...  I think Amazon has exclusive rights to kindle books.  Since there is no layout (and thus why I published kindle), They and I split royalties, and though I could list it other places, They won't get any money unless I pay for the listing.

And after One bugs the sh1t out of someOne or some place for a certain length of time, it becomes clear that further effort represents time better spent bugging someOne else.  Believe Me, it be came clear C2C was NOT interested.  I suspect They too are gatekeepers.  Talk about the problems and horrors, and ensure solutions are never passed on.

enki is a very popular topic with many people, not just sitchinites.  it might help to generate interest in your abundance paradigm, to write a book about enki to bring in traffic.  that way you could do the radio programs for one book, then the other.  start with the enki book, then 6 months later, the abundance book.  who was he.  what did he do.  would he approve or disapprove of the abundance paradigm and why.    etc

I really know little about Enki except what I read in The Terra Papers.  And I doubt I could write a book.  Really, I am not that good with research, and would have not much I can say.  I will contact radio programs.  Of course, I have already contacted People like James Corbett of the Corbett Report, Red Ice Radio...  So far, no luck.

One of the things that has kept Me from publishing in paper is I could not afford to print it out and postage to send a hard copy to the big houses - who seem to want the hard copy.  Not sure where I would get the money to print it out...

I did submit a revised edition of the novella only to Analog.  They still have it open (not rejected) last I checked (a few days ago) but it's been in for over a month.  I guess it's a good thing They still have it for consideration...

The old way to publish  You contract a publisher but you make NO money until the publisher gets paid back for the first run. A friend in France has a book out but needs to see 500 copies before he starts getting paid. ( I plan to sell some for him but they are not cheap... likely be 90.00ish) Well worth it though

So online self publishing IS a way to go and spam FB Twitter etc with it

Years ago I was told that the FASTEST way to make money is publishing small pamphlet style books  20 pages or so  an 8.5x11 page folded in half with a semi hard cover.

These print out cheap. You then buy small ads in magazines related to your material  Book sells for say 5.95ish and you can get a local print shop like OfficeMax to run off 10 at a time  They don't need a printing press so are cheap to print coalate and staple  Cost is usually around $1.00 to $1.50

My daughter is buying video games at the pawn shop and yard sales for $3-5.00 and selling them after testing for $25-40.00 She buys stuff at Kmart clearance using her 10% discount... just sold a hat for $10.00 today and a Sonic shirt for $15.00 yesterday... she paid .99 cents for each brand new minus her discount AND anything she buys goes onto her points card LOL  A leather jacket she got at yard sale for $3.00 sold for $45.00 in just three days

My sister in Canada was in serious trouble 2 years ago when her hubby lost work and she has our mom living in the basement apt. She now buys fur coats and high end glassware at yard sales church sales and thrift stores, etc. She never pays more than $50.00 but sells them for $200-300.00  She has all her bills paid now and takes her family for two weeks to Puerto Rico annually.

I myself had nothing left in the bank last January now back up to $3K float, bills paid, newer car and $6K line of credit ($3K at bank based on daily deposits from ebay etsy amazon etc) $500.00 at paypal bill me later and $2700.00 at Kabbage (an ebay line of credit)  So I will soon be able to return the favor of those that lent me a hand

Sure I am an expert now... and I know what has value when I see it.  But i can share this knowledge and it is easy to learn if you can use GOOGLE   Sure I have some good stuff I found over the years...But as a test I sold a handful of old rusty wood screws removed form trash furniture on Etsy for $7.85 as Vintage Screws for the wood repair guy (they sold 6hrs after posting) and drawer handles from old dressers tossed in the trash fetch $8-9.00 a pair !!!

Thor cuts trees for a living  removes debris from disaster zones. He showed us the big trees he cuts and scraps. I told him he was an idiot   In 5 minutes I sent him a link to 1) A company that buys white oak logs for barrel staves 2) A firewood company that will buy and pick up pallets of cut hardwood and 3) cut those huge stumps he showed us into table top slabs worth 300ish each unfinished. There is money everywhere.  Look for Disney stuff...  Toys, Xmas Ornaments etc... Last year I bought a bunch at $1.00 each from a yard sale....  I had a broken set of Snow White and the Dwarfs  2 missing one... chip on ear. Paid $1.00 for a wooden wine bottle box with the  6 figurines in it.   Sold Snow White for $14.95 and the 5 dwarfs for $9.99 each within 3 days of posting on Ebay

And I say BS.  IF They have access to things, maybe, but I can assure You that the children dying of starvation have NOTHING.  No food, little water, even, no access to "stuff" to somehow sell to nonexistant customers. 

And I do not see barely scraping by as somehow having abundance.

A LOT even animals don't foul their own den... but you have set your mind against understanding that a vast majority of humans just don't give a dam. If they are living in such conditions, WHY would you have more babies to bring into a world where you KNOW they will die of starvation? How does that make any sense at all?  WHY would a farmer that has his crops dying because of old fashioned techniques and cannot feed his own people turn his nose up at you when you offer a SOLUTION... one that has worked and does work (soil rotation) that WILL provide abundance?  WHY would I want to endlessly send those people food if they REFUSE to help themselves when shown how?

And if it was so easy, We all would be living richly.  What would happen if One shared an avenue?  Soon that avenue would be choked, and at best only a few would manage any kind of abundance with the competition for what little there is to "make a living" (WHY should We have to EARN Our place on a planet We were BORN to?).

It IS easy... but it requires EFFORT and WORK. By the same method that YOU are expecting TAP to materialize... it works the same way  the Law of Attraction, Think and grow Rich... Ask and Ye Shall receive... its all the SAME THING  doesn't matter WHAT the goal is... money... food... health...  You have to focus on it and take steps as they come up to make it happen.

I have already turned around my situation in under a year... I have already helped two family members do the same and have FUN doing it... I have already helped three forum members so the same thing and they are having fun at it.

I am but one man... and not so good on health or wealth at this point  I cannot save the world in the time I have left... But if I can save 10 people who in turn can save 10 more I have done more than most... and I am satisfied with that

Construction is statring to boom here again... people are decorating more this year for the holidays...  life is good again. Daughter signed up for Obama care under Nevada Health... she is a student living at home making 400-500 a month part time.  She got food stamps (86.00 a month recommended by the Health people. took her 15 minutes to apply) and her health care payment will be ZERO.  So whether or not Obama care is bad or good or indifferent... I will not snub my nose at it at this point

Because I cannot change it in my lifetime... but within this system. by learning THEIR RULES and USING THEIR OWN SYSTEM... I CAN help many many people... And that to me has more value than some Utopian dream that I do not believe will stand a chance in Hades of making it

I believe STRONGLY in the Laws of Karma  I KNOW for a FACT that there is life after death and there is reincarnation... based on that FIRM KNOWLEDGE  I lead my life accordingly.  By helping 10 or more people I put good karma into the bank. As such I am also a 100% believer that we are here on THIS planet to learn the HARD lessons of life to build character for our souls or 'life force' for our future.

I didn't have the money to print.  I just got a printer and now can print the 178 pages (less single space), but if I want a publishing house to see it, I also need to send it out - and that is one set of 178 pages per publishing house.  Don't think there's anywhere local that could bind a book, and $10 a pop for 100 copies is $1000.  Just for binding.

And that is presuming it is not more here.

I would LOVE to shop yard sales.  But:

1)  I have no money to give for even a 99 cent purchase.
2)  I have no transportation to go mucking about at yard sales
3)  I do not have the best "eye" for things that are worth anything.

I would be the one selling the $400 items 3 for $5 if I had anything to sell.

So...  Yeah, it's easy of You have money to start with, the ability to GET anywhere, and had a clue on the value of things.

i don't know what it's like now, but 30 years ago, publisher's wanted outlines,summaries with chapter titles page, rather than the whole book, so they could review it and it's not easy getting published.  now days, you could probably just link the kindle lol

i was thinking, if you present the abundance paradigm with a futuristic approach and not just the underlying communism theme, you would likely glean more interest in it simply because people like all that space stuff.  have a snappy intro like "in the future, robots will do the work, while we live our dreams"  or something like that..  you could even include a preface about the moral question regarding the enslavement of artificial intelligence.
