to check whether your code will work in a mobile device just upload your work to a server on the internet and link it in the box provided on screenfly here and select the device type you want to view it in from the icon menu above the window.  mobile handheld devices are the third from the left

In Ch1na I think the phone internet is closer to 80%. Every one is diching land lines and going WiFi with phones. They are now staring at the phones like goats and walking into things, including cars. Ouch! It is illegal to drive and WiFi so they just stop their cars where ever they are and take care of the problem. Then start up again and move on.

One lady I was driving with stopped her car right in the middle of the fast third lane to take an internet email and call. I thought we were going to die. A huge concrete truck behind us did not see that she had parked her car [in park with the emergency brake on, engine off] and all I heard was the nasty sounds of all his brakes locking up and smoke from all the tires. Stopped an inch behind us. It never even made her blink. I had to change my draws. Needless to say, I never drove with her again. I have also just jumped out of taxies for the same reason. The mobil everything is killing people here at a fast rate. Be careful.

I also like the moon in the back ground.

amy wants to kinow if you would mind using the deuem from the book cover instead of the deuem you sent me because the one you sent me ends up having a light stripe across its mouth when the image is resized to fit the avatar box on the guest page

get on skype maybe?

it looks great as long as you aren't viewing it in a mobile device.
is there a way perhaps to give the div containing the text to also contain a bgcolor in addition to the background in the div?  perhaps for mobile devices once the background  texture is shrunk, the bgcolor in the div could be a similar color as the background and the words would be rendered on the matching bgcolor?

I took the Amy book cover and worked some Deuem Magic on it. That was the same one I used on the Deuem t-shirt right in the middle. I thought I posted that?

Deuem, maybe not. Maybe just Skyped it out.

That's why many sites have specific pages for mobile devices.

I'll see what I can do. :)

html 5 is not fully implemented in all browsers.  i think you meant html 4
I got confused, you do not even have a doctype in your file (which may make some browser behave in an unpredictable way) so when I saw only "html" I thought of HTML 5. :)

Edit: what software are you using to create the pages?

I never do that, as I would need to remember too many things. ;D

See if this is what you need.

I couldn't find a way of making it work in IE8 or older. :(

! thank you armap!!  i have to go look at what you did there.  what part did you change?

think a bgcolor could also be set for the div so that when the image runs out in IE8 and older, the bgcolor in the div would continue?

I divided the image in two and used the lower part as the background for a div (I think it's a new div, I don't remember, I changed many things many times ;D ).
I also added a doctype and validated it in the W3C HTML validator to get an error free page. Too bad it doesn't work well in IE8 or older, as the "background-size" property doesn't work. :(
