You're right this time. :)

A description would have been enough...

fair enough

a research scientist, via nootropic drugs takes his neighbours gardener retard *jobe*as a research subject and with a V.R headset, intuitive teaching software ,manages to turn him into a super genius with an I.Q far exceeding his mentors. Jobe later goes on to shell his body that was hooked up to the internet, and send his mind ,consciousness into it.

his birth call into the web, was to make all the phones on earth ring simultaneously

the trouble was .. it was too fast..too much knowledge, too much of an upgrade.  it broke his mind and turned him into a merciless killer :D

ArMaP

Thanks for the description. :)

Now that I know what you were talking about, I can say that I don't think it's possible for a living creature to exist online. As I don't know if the mind can exist without the body I can't say if the "Lawnmower man" situation is possible or not.

I don't do the film justice , it has far subtler nuances than I can throw at you ,

so that Russian guy's not got a chance in hell then ? .. hmm you should bend his ear for wasting money and resources :D

synoptic video compromise :D

It's exactly that, too bad I live in a city. :(

okay 'rocks' is not enough info :P What kind of rocks? beach rocks? mineral specimens? fossils?

I live in a city too but have found many rocks in construction sites

This one for example   its pretty big and I got a few car loads of stuff form this one housing project  They were blasting into the hills so after hours I just went shopping :P

So if you like rocks  I have lots Shipping not too bad on small samples

I assume that means they are able to post comments in what maybe open threads..

No we do not allow guest posting You have to join to post  But opening the threads will let the public see them

Quoteand it maybe a trial to see how it goes and get more members..

That is the idea  yes

QuoteI recall that you did create another replica some time back..I assume that was not not suitable as members on the main forum rarely visited it to post or reply..

We made a backup new copy of the forum but since then this one has sorta ffixed itself so we are good for now

i DO plan to purge a lot of old junk threads  Ones that have run their course and have no real content of value  Clear up some space on the database

The Library threads will stay but I need to copy them to the website  More people see them there

I like all kinds of rocks (as anyone that has seen my posts on the anomalies boards knows :P ), but this is a sedimentary, geologically new region (less than 20 million years), so I only found fossils, mostly on a construction site. Some of the older houses and walls in Almada (mostly from the 18th century, as the Lisbon earthquake of 1755 destroyed most older buildings, although we can still see stones from buildings pre-dating the earthquake in some of those 18th century houses) used sedimentary rocks with fossils in their construction, as there aren't any other types of rock here.

Sedimentary rocks especially limestone have all kinds of pockets with crystals in them. Used to spend a lot of time in the cement quarries in Toronto

Oddly enough  the quarry on the east side had mostly fossils while the one on the west had the cool crystals

Both quarries allowed access if you asked permission and signed in.  It was fun picking up fossils while the big trucks went by :D  The fossil quarry was four levels deep  with 400 million year old trilobites in level three

The crystal quarry was awesome as they left huge rocks with pockets for collector to search  So the quarry did all the hard work

This is Dundas Quarry  The walls are off limits :P

But I saw a pocket of crystals up the wall once and used a rusty old pipe to knock them out  Got a LOT from that pocket

This is one of the bigger pieces

Despite them falling from the wall I got good samples

This is a closeup

zorgon

These are the blocks the quarry leaves for collectors  Hard hat and vest required so you don't get run over by the mining trucks :P

We don't even have limestone here, only a kind of compressed clay.

Very nice. :)

Here are some rocks visible in some walls of hold houses.

I suppose they are good enough to make walls and, to bring to original topic back, to throw at CIA trolls. ;)

I have managed to use a proxy server with yahoo email successfully ok before, maybe a year ago or so...but the last few times I have tried it, It would not work for me..It may have been down to the Proxy server I used..It had been a Free one that worked ok in the past..and I cannot recall which one it had been...I was not able to find it when I searched to try and find it again a year or so later..There were then many more in the search engine rankings...so the ones id used may have disappeared or moved down the rankings..

It also may have been down to me having a problem with my computer that for what ever reason the others I had tried just could not cope with them.. or it may have been the browser i used (I think I was on a older version of I.E back then)and an issue with a popup blocker....I think I was on a different browser a year or more ago and there seems several variations in some of the  things on the likes of  other browsers like Chrome and Firefox..some I don't really know very well how best to use.. you get used to one browser then before you know it its been updated.. then you get other versions and have to learn about them...I dont always want to have to deal or take the time in trying to learn the ins and outs and changes with them all... its a pain if your not a patient , knowledgeable or clever techy.... Its  the same with some of the Operating systems.. you get used to one.. and may like it, like Id got used to XP.. then they stop updating it ..  I was happy with XP... but now as they have no further updates , somethings things no longer work with it..and im sure soon it will be totally replaced..

With regards to having to use ones real identity to be able to use such things as yahoo groups or facebook.. where as before you could use fake details..

I do find that concerning in someways...as I dont want  to have my real details shown or given to such services...

I think at the moment you can still use fake IDs etc.. but they are starting to try to get you to give them more info.... Even yahoo groups now request your mobile phone number to join...NOT every one has a mobile or uses one... and they do not offer any other option.... so basically if you have don't have a mobile number or cannot write one in the sign up process.. you are unable to join..  You can probably use a false mobile number...but why do they want a mobile number ... they used to ask for a 2nd email incase you lost you ID and PW details....but they had a sign up process where you are asked to answer some questions.. that you then can use to answer if you loose you ID details..where the lost password process then asks you the answer to one of the sign up questions.. like what was the name of your favorite teacher..that  type of thing..

With facebook as far as I am aware... they only need your real ID if you use them for any sort of business.. such as if you advertise on Facebook using their FB ads.. similar to google ads.. or maybe if you are some sort of business that you want to set up a type of corporate look..

BUT it maybe that anytime they may request all our real IDs..

Im not sure I will consider using them when it gets to that stage..

QuoteYahoo most likely doesn't allow proxy servers just like some companies will not let you use their website if you have ad blocker in place (Publishers CZlearing House is one  they know if you have ad blocker) Facebook is demanding you use your real name  Zorgon no longer works at FB. They have been cancelling accounts and making you show drivers license to reinstate under your real name

I bety they are doing all this so people can be charged when they say certain things :P Google is doing the same thing but they still let me use Pegasus though they bug me every time

Interesting what you show about your rock experiences "Z"... Would you say that you have some finds that are worthy to sell for  high fees ?

some of your images of the quarry didn't seem to be working.. but It seems a good idea to check in them, ..Maybe in some you can get access.. but I also suspect some you may not have permission or its classed as a danger area..

QuoteSo what's this about you liking to hunt rocks?

I like your explanation of LM man Funbox, I don't think ive seen that movie..or may not had understood it back at the time..

I thought that ArMaP only would not watch certain videos like Alex Jones or Jessie Venturas !  :)

otherwise I think he is missing out if he won't watch any at all..

I thought that I read it said... that they say a picture tells a story that maybe otherwise could take a 1000 words to describe...and videos offer an even better way to show or demonstrate things than even a single picture..

if not ..then that's my description to explain why watching video is a good thing.. and helps save a lot of thought , explaining and writing time.. :P

Quotewhat ? you mean some kind of sentient consciousness trapped within a machine that runs on electricity ? Lawnmower man anology?
