Think about it - there are so many of these cases involving officials or politicians from nations around the world - and the numbers and positions cited simply scream conspiracy. It can't be any other way, given the nature of the crimes committed.

What is going on?  I continue to strongly believe that we are witnessing the exposure of a control mechanism. Consider how homosexuality may have been used this way in the past - in male-dominated institutions such as the Nazi brown shifts (until Hitler assumed total power).  This means of control has faded away with social acceptance of being gay.

This could be very good for human society as gays might not be able to be blackmailed anymore - AND pedophiles are exposed so that an underlying disgusting unity by politicians could be ending.  Suppose people got elected and the Elite 'didn't have anything on them' ?

The fact that some people with power over other people abuse that power to commit crimes, and, in this specific case, sexual crimes against children, doesn't mean that all people in those power positions do it or that all reports are true.

Just because someone speculates about a possibility doesn't turn that possibility into a fact, and we shouldn't ignore the possibility that some cases are just made up to stir people away from the real ones.

That's why I prefer facts.

It is also irrelevant".  Hard, proven facts don't go far enough for real life.  No one uses a laser range finder with an integrated calculator to cross a busy street and avoid getting hit by a bus.  We also use intuition to pick marriage mates, invest in the stock market, pursue scientific breakthroughs and......vote.

We have no choice, living in a world without personal omniscience.  Take your best guess in the poker game of life, that's just how it is.  Unfortunately, we got stuck with the superficial philosophy of a pot-head astrophysicist who spoke about extraordinary evidence - thereby deepening the world's stagnation in many fields.

the stagnation has ended as mhd is coming to forefront,what sucks is public funding seems to be nill even though the tech is out there already.the tr3b platform seems to be reliable,now to upsize.

I think Sagan made a huge contribution to scientific stagnation when he said 'extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence'.   Any claim, big or small, should require evidence.  The problem is moving the goalposts to make things forever unattainable - especially in transient or subtle effects.

And who defines what "extraordinary" is?  Extraordinary to who? If nature defines something as ordinary,  mundane, then it's just a matter of human perception.  So, what?......as long as pathological skeptics exist, that's it, the end?

This isn't just rhetorical debate. How many lives are lost trading blood for oil while cold fusion (LENR) is hotly denied after 30 years or so of observation?  Has Sci Am finally broken a barrier by admitting that "cold fusion' is something real, whatever it is?

Getting back to the topic, isn't it evident that politicians are deeply afraid of something as Obama leaves office? More than just Trump alone?

Pizzagate and more are in the realm of speculation or intuition at present.  We can hope for a day when the hard facts are exposed in a courtroom.

To my view, I am regularly stunned by what appears to be a Western world, dominated by the US, that has gone insane.  I truly cannot tell if the Elite are stupid, grossly deceived or just evil.  Maybe a bit of all three explains it.

They are afraid of what he represents, mainly the working class and conservative people of this country; he is an outsider, not a bought and paid for political POS, so, yeah, they need to be very afraid.
