Yes, they have done that many times with many sites. Besides that, Google's algorithm ranks the sites according to the number of links pointing to them, but they also have a "grade", so a site with a lower "grade" doesn't appear at the same level as other sites with the same popularity but with a higher "grade".

Those companies however cannot as far as I know take action against a website on another search engine or platform
unless the content is found to be illegal and they report it to the law..

True, but as Google controls most of the advertising, their ranking affects advertising on those sites, as any company looking for sites to put their publicity on will obviously avoid spending money on sites with lower "grades".

If I recall correct... Both Twitter and Instagram for eg have lately (in the past for other topics at times).. have sent messages to some of their members to ask them to remove content.. or they took action to do so..

Some main egs recently to do with Racism....in particular since the Black Lives Matter has become a main issue after the George Floyde incident..

It's a question of Terms and Conditions of Use, they all have them, telling people what they can and cannot do on the site (we also have them, naturally), so people have to accept them to join. After joining they are subject to those Terms and Conditions and can be penalised if they go against them.

But they also may be doing it in relation to Covid issues now.. and against People like Alex Jones views.

Yes, if it goes against their Terms and Conditions of Use they can do it legally.

So the question for me is.. also they doing it thru Govt request... or just their own views on it ?

They are, most likely, doing it for money, as usually advertisers do not like "alternative" views on important topics, so if a site starts getting many posts/pages with those the advertisers start to go elsewhere, so they get less advertising money.

ONE THING that really distrubed me in recent times.... a few years ago..

Alex Jones warned about one of the viruses maybe for Bird flu or even just a general yearly winter flu vaccine or something and said it also contained I think it was something in relation to MMR...that was not being officially disclosed or people were not warned about it...

The MMR vaccine is a vaccine against measles, mumps, and rubella.

I new two old people who had just taken their yearly Winter Flu vaccine.... that I had considered warning them about it the day before..but was too late when I found they had already gone to their Doctor to have  it..

6 months later they were both dead...from cancer and had previously lived very well...
This has severely disturbed me since in ref to this sort of stuff...

Its very hard to even consider if one should talk to others about opinions on Viruses..even to family memebers..
especially if they have Children who are going to get vaccinated for say even such as Small pox..

on the one hand if you led to believe the vaccines could be a threat.. or believe you may had had a similar experience as i described...

and on the other if you did say something and something later was suggested as being related to effect someone for them not having taken a vaccine...

then it back fires on you...or could make you feel or  look bad..

when laymen are having to to wonder can we trust Doctors or some onewho you are led to believe you should trust..

and yet you maybe being led to believe from other sources that what they say may not be truth...

I'm against any kind of censorship, so I'm against suppression of the discussion of technology being involved in CoViD-19, but I understand that when lives may be in risk for what is said people should act more responsibly.

Stating, for example, that people do not need to care about a virus spreading because this is not caused by a virus but by 5G radiation may make people act without care and catching the disease, with all the consequences it has, so people should be more careful about the way they say things.

But that is the problem, as it may be that it is not the virus causing the condition ( hypoxia), but if all debate and investigation about technology been involved is blocked, then it is equally far more dangerous and war like if technology is been deployed against the population of this planet for a certain few mega rich lunatics agenda???

Alex Jones has suggested that George Sorus is involved in wanting to allow other races into the Country to create issues..or encourage more mixed race relationships...which to some degree has now more occurred..

and I would have hoped that People Like Trump.. if they are aware of this.. would expose it..

If we have no one trustworthy to confirm or deny this.. we are left in the dark... and certainly will be affraid of considering any vaccine..

If You don't wear a mask in shops the people there will turn on You, this is how the vaccine will be made mandatory, the masks are dangerous to the wearer due to breathing back in what Your body is trying to rid itself of constantly.
