Another point on this, "reading a book" is just reading a book! Even reading the Bible, while being informative, is still just reading a book -  it is not life changing.............until one sees just enough in the scriptures to understand that Jesus gave his life that man could again be a part of the family of God, and have eternal life.
That can happen regardless of reading a book or not, and, again, it's the result of accepting something as being an absolute truth.

I don't go that way. :)

:)) Hey Z, I have no questions about "procreation" and God's way for the procreation of man to be accomplished. God does make it quite clear how he expects populating the Earth to be done, and most everyone pretty much knows how that is to be done too. Yes, keeping procreation within the bounds of husband and wife is the way he requires it, and has a commandment that says "do not commit adultery". He does expect man to be something higher than animals in this regard, and yes, there are several Biblical accounts of his actions in this regard, including the great flood, and Sodom and Gomorrah.

Sure, our fleshly minds (satan) can try to get us to do all sorts of sinful things, but, we can resist those if we choose to. But God is God, and he gets to make the deal, for us to accept or reject, as he did pay the price in the sacrifice of his Son, so that we could be forgiven................. for the mistakes we have made!
