Feds Accused Of Leaving Trail
Of Wreckage After Nevada Ranch Standoff

QuoteOn a Friday night conference call, BLM officials told reporters that "illegal structures" on Bundy's ranch -- water tanks, water lines and corrals -- had to be removed to "restore" the land to its natural state and prevent the rancher from restarting his illegal cattle operation.

However, the court order used to justify the operation appears only to give the agency the authority to "seize and impound" Bundy's cattle.

"Nowhere in the court order that I saw does it say that they can destroy infrastructure, destroy corrals, tanks ... desert environment, shoot cattle," Houston said.

Everything you need to know about the long fight between Cliven Bundy and the federal government

The case of cattle rancher Cliven Bundy burst into the national news cycle over the past week, captivating conservative media outlets with its protagonist, a firm believer of states' right with an armed group of supporters backing him. The stand-off between Nevada rancher and federal government officials trying to push cattle off of protected federal land has paused for now, but officials plan to renew their efforts soon.

This most-recent skirmish is only the latest in a decades-long fight between the federal government and Cliven Bundy, however.  Here's a timeline that proves just how complicated this case is — as well as the power that the media still retains to elevate a local political issue into a national one.

1989: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service lists the desert tortoise as an endangered species. A year later, its designation was changed to "threatened."

March 1993: The Washington Post publishes a story about the federal government's efforts to protect the desert tortoise in Nevada. Near Las Vegas, the Bureau of Land Management designated hundreds of thousands of acres of federal land for strict conservation efforts. "Among the conservation measures required," according to the Post's coverage, "are the elimination of livestock grazing and strict limits on off-road vehicle use in the protected tortoise habitat. Two weeks ago, the managers of the plan completed the task of purchasing grazing privileges from cattle ranchers who formerly used BLM land."

Many people were not impressed by the new conservation plan. "Cliven Bundy, whose family homesteaded his ranch in 1877 and who accuses the government of a 'land grab,' are digging in for a fight and say they will not willingly sell their grazing privileges to create another preserve." People who use the desert to prospect for minerals and to race motorcycles and jeeps also feel shortchanged. "'It was shoved down our throat,' said Mark Trinko, who represents off-road vehicle users on the committee that oversees the plan."

Bundy has repeatedly been fined for grazing his cattle on the protected land, fines he has not paid since 1993. The Bureau of Land Management, which oversees about 800 grazing areas in Nevada, responded by revoking his permit. Bundy has not applied for a new one.

April 1995: The fight between the Bureau of Land Management and the ranchers who want to use the federal land without fees or oversight is growing more tense, according to a story published in USA Today.

Thursday evening, a small bomb went off in the U.S. Forest Service office in Carson City, Nev.

Though no one has taken responsibility -- and no one was injured -- it has sent chills through government agencies involved in Western land management.

"If it was sent as a message," says Forest Service spokeswoman Erin O'Connor, "we got it."

Ultimately the issue will be settled by the courts, but ranchers who say they can't afford to raise livestock without greater access to public land are taking matters into their own hands -- setting up what some officials fear is an inevitable and dangerous confrontation.

The situation is becoming so tense that federal workers now travel mostly in pairs and are in constant radio contact with district offices.

"I'm concerned about the safety of my employees," says Jim Nelson, Forest Service district manager for Nevada. "They can't go to church in these communities without having someone say something. Their kids are harassed in school. Stores and restaurants are not serving them."

Nelson, who oversees 7 million acres in Nevada, says his agency is just doing its job, which is to ensure that land remains healthy and viable for ranchers and any others who wish to use it.

That goal, he says, is hindered by unattended, free-ranging cows that degrade the state's precious springs and stream banks.

The battle is being called Sagebrush II, a sequel to a 1970s movement that sought a state takeover of federal public lands. Today, many ranchers, miners and loggers argue the federal government never had a legitimate claim to the land.

The reason that things were ramping up? Counties were starting to challenge federal ownership of land. In 1991, Catron County in New Mexico passed an ordinance that claimed state ownership and local management of public land in the state. Thirty five counties followed suit. Nye County, Nevada, became the first to act on its legislated threat. The county commissioner bulldozed his way down a closed national forest road. Forest rangers soon followed, who the county commissioner threatened to arrest if they interfered.

At this point, Cliven Bundy had racked up $31,000 in fees for grazing on federal land without a permit. Helicopters often hover over his herd, counting up the cows so he can be fined appropriately. "They've taken their authority and abused it," Bundy said. "I'm not being regulated to death anymore."

Bundy's neighbors were also angry.

"The federal government just wants control of us. But I'm not going to be controlled," Keith Nay says.

But those seeking greater access to federal land deny they are looking for an old-West shoot-out.

"Do you want to see my weapons?" asks Norm Tom, a Paiute Indian and Nay's son-in-law, who runs about 100 cows on range adjoining Bundy's. He pulls out two copies of the Constitution, one pocket-sized, one full sized.

March 18, 1996: The federal government, which owns 87 percent of the land in Nevada,  is still worried about potential violence if they try to remove illegally grazing cattle from protected land. Two more pipebombs had exploded in Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management offices in the past two years. The Justice Department has 12 lawsuits pending against Nevada cattle ranchers. A federal court in the state struck down the Nye County ordinance that caused trouble the year before. Not that ranchers took that as reason to stand down, however. One local resident told USA Today,"A single district court decision in one district doesn't settle it. It's just a single day in the year of a revolutionary war. We're going to continue on with the fight." Bundy is also continuing to graze on federal lands. "I'm still saying the state of Nevada owns that land, and the federal government has been an encroacher. I'm not moving my cattle. We have ... rights."

Bundy states that his rights derive from the fact his Mormon ancestors were using the land far before the federal government claimed authority over it. One Elko County rancher, Cliff Gardner, has decided to take his case to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, arguing that states' rights mean the federal government has no authority over the land where his cattle graze.

1998: A federal judge issues a permanent injunction against Bundy, ordering him to remove his cattle from the federal lands. He lost an appeal to the San Francisco 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. He represented himself.

March 2002: Cliff Gardner is sentenced to a month in a Reno halfway house, along with a $5,000 fine and a year of probation. He has been under house arrest for the three previous months for not taking his cattle off of federal land. When his sentence — which affirmed the U.S. Forest Service's authority over the disputed land — was announced, more than 50 states' rights protesters were in the courtroom with him.

Three were dressed in white wigs as American Revolutionary War patriots and another wearing a wig and red coat said he was England's King George. "Has the West been won, or has the fight just begun?" read a banner at a rally outside the courthouse where 15 protesters on horseback carried signs while children waved the Nevada state flag. "This court has tried to intimidate the citizens of Nevada by attempting to make an example of Cliff Gardner," said Cliven Bundy, a Clark County rancher.

July 2009: The federal government is still fighting with local ranchers. They have signs posted all over the public land, stating that it is off-limits for grazing.

Some signs have been chain-sawed down; others have been filled with bullet holes. "There haven't been any confrontations out there, but we have to be careful," says Gail Marrs-Smith, who manages the area for the BLM. "We travel in pairs." Cliven Bundy,  a local organic melon farmer, is one of those who resent the changes. To protect an endangered tortoise, Clark County has set aside habitat by buying and retiring all of the government grazing leases in Gold Butte. But Bundy still runs his cows through here, even though since 1993 he has been ordered to desist because he has no permit. Bundy says that his family has grazed here since the nineteenth century and that he doesn't recognize the authority of the federal government. He has threatened resistance if anyone enforces the court order to remove his cattle from the wilderness. "It's so blatant," says Rob Mrowka, a conservationist who works for the Center for Biological Diversity, in Las Vegas. "Anyone can go out there anytime of the year and see cattle. BLM employees trying to protect sensitive plants and animals are very frustrated. It's a problem that's been going on and on."

April 2012: The BLM plans to round up Bundy's cattle. After several threats, these plans are abandoned. The Center for Biological Diversity files an intent to sue against the BLM for canceling their plans.

May 2012: BLM files a complain in a federal Las Vegas court seeking an injunction against Bundy.

February 2013: After endless complaints from ranchers and hunters, Nevada Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval demands the resignation of Kenneth Mayer, director of the Nevada Department of Wildlife. One of Mayer's biggest projects was deciding whether to add another Nevada animal to the endangered species list, the sage grouse. He had mapped the best places to mark as protected sage grouse habitats in the state, and the best places to encourage environmentally safe economic development.

Ranchers thought his conservation efforts were misplaced. The president of Hunters Alert told the New York Times, "What did Ken Mayer do? Nothing. Just habitat, habitat, habitat, which is a terrible thing for a person in his position to do. You get instant results when you poison a raven or shoot a coyote." Hunters also prefer predator killing because of its effects on the deer population. Scientists counter that ecosystem preservation is a far better way to stop extinction than predator management. Gerald Lent, a former chairman of the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners called these findings, backed up by extensive research, "voodoo science."

Cliff Gardner reappeared during this fight, writing frequent letters to the editor to the Elko Daily Free Press about Mayer's eventual replacement. "I'm sure most of the people being considered for his job graduated from a college. These people are the cause of the destruction of wildlife."

August 2013: A court order says Bundy has 45 days to remove his cattle from federal land.

October 2013: A federal district judge court tells Bundy not to "physically interfere with any seizure or impoundment operation."

March 15, 2014: After nearly 20 years, the Bureau of Land Management sends Bundy a letter informing him that they plan to impound his "trespass cattle," which have been roaming on 90 miles of federal land. BLM averages four livestock impoundments a year, usually involving a few dozen animals.

March 27, 2014: The BLM has closed off 322,000 acres of public land, and is preparing to collect Bundy's cattle. Bundy files a notice with the county sheriff department, titled "Range War Emergency Notice and Demand for Protection." Bundy also says he has a virtual army of supporters from all over the country ready to protect him. He also has Gardner. "I think Cliven is taking a stand not only for family ranchers, but also for every freedom-loving American, for everyone," Gardner said. "I've been trying to resolve these same types of issues since 1984. Perhaps it's difficult for the average American to understand, but protecting the individual was a underlying factor of our government. ... My support is that I am determined to stand by the Bundy family in any fashion it takes regardless of the threat of life or limb."

Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins also supports Bundy. "The U.S. government has perpetrated a bigger fraud on people over those tortoises than Al Capone did selling swampland in Miami."

April 1, 2014: Bundy's 14 children and 52 grandchildren are all bunkered down at his house waiting for the BLM to arrive. Bundy is giving constant interviews and making constant calls to local and state officials. BLM has set up two "First Amendment areas" in nearby Bunkerville.

April 2, 2014: Around 30 protesters line up outside the Livestock auction house to protest the sale of Bundy's cattle. If Bundy doesn't pay the fees he's accumulated, his cows could be sold to another buyer.

A group of local conservationists sent a letter to local officials demanding that they support BLM's actions. One of those people was Bundy's cousin, Terri Robertson. They've only met a few times, and only at meetings about the federal lands. "He's just in a world of his own. I don't think he's working on all four cylinders," Robertson said. Bundy retorts that his city slicker cousin doesn't know what she is talking about.  "My cattle are the kind of cattle people look for at Whole Foods."

April 5, 2014: After decades of trepidation, federal officials and cowboys start rounding up what they think are Cliven Bundy's hundreds of cows. The operation was going to cost $1 million, and reportedly last until May. BLM contends that Bundy owes $1 million in fees, and will also have to pay the round-up expenses. Bundy — who retorts that he only owes $300,000 in fees — says the city folk are only hurting themselves by taking his cows. He told a reporter from the Las Vegas Review Journal that there would be 500,000 fewer hamburgers per year after his cows were towed away; "But nobody is thinking about that. Why would they? They're all thinking about the desert tortoise. Hey, the tortoise is a fine creature. I like him. I have no problem with him. But taking another man's cattle? It just doesn't seem right."

He also thinks the co-habitating cows and tortoises could have a beautiful, symbiotic relationship if the government would let them. "The tortoises eat the cow manure, too. It's filled with protein."

April 6, 2014: Cliven Bundy's 37-year-old son is arrested for "refusing to disperse" and resisting arrest. He was released the following day. His face is covered with scratches from fighting the feds. Before he left the detention center, authorities gave him a tuna fish sandwich. "It wasn't poison," he said. "I just ate it."

The Nevada Cattlemen's Association distances itself from protests over Bundy's cattle. "Nevada Cattlemen's Association does not feel it is in our best interest to interfere in the process of adjudication in this matter."

April 9, 2014: Two of Bundy's family members are injured in a confrontation with federal officials. One of them was Bundy's son, tasered after he kicked a police dog. "I'm almost getting mad enough to swear," Bundy says. "The one thing we're going to do is stay cool and we're gonna fight."

April 10, 2014: A protest camp has formed. There is a sign at the entrance that reads, "MILITA SIGHN IN."

Traveling from as close as St. George — and as far as Montana — a mix of characters waved picket signs at an encampment just before a bridge over the Virgin River, protesting the BLM's campaign.

"This is a better education than being in school! I'm glad I brought you. I'm a good mom," said Ilona Ence, a 49-year-old mother from St. George and Bundy relative who brought her four teenage kids to the ranch. "They're learning about the Constitution."

... Jack Faught, Bundy's first cousin, drove his forest green 1929 Chevy truck from Mesquite loaded with water and Gatorade.

"It's not about the cows," he said. "It's about the freedom to make our own choices close to home."

Polo Parra, a 27-year-old tattoo artist from Las Vegas, even showed up with two of his friends to support the rancher. Dressed in baggy clothes and covered in tattoos, the group carried signs that read "TYRANNY IS ALIVE" and "WHERE'S THE JUSTICE?" in red spray-painted letters.

One of Parra's friends, who would not share his name, had a pistol tucked in his waistband.

"I think it's bull, and it really made me mad," said Parra, who decided to make the trip when he heard about the violence that broke out on the ranch. "This isn't about no turtles or cows."

One protester, a former Arizona sheriff named Richard Mack, told Fox News about the militia's plans if violence broke out in Bunkerville. "We were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front. If they are going to start shooting, it's going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rogue federal officers."

April 12, 2014: BLM decides not to enforce their court order: "Based on information about conditions on the ground, and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of the public."

The Bundy son who was tasered said, "We won the battle." He told another outlet, "The people have the power when they unite. The war has just begun."

April 14, 2014: BLM also pledges that this isn't done. A spokesperson for the bureau said this Sunday, "The door isn't closed. We'll figure out how to move forward with this."

Some of Bundy's neighbors aren't impressed by his actions. "I feel that the rule of law supersedes armed militias coming in from all over the country to stand with a law-breaking rancher, which is what he is," one person told a local TV station.

Wild horse advocates are getting angrier, saying that the roaming cattle are ruining their habitats. Other scientists argue that the wild horses and cows alike are ruining habitats for other animals.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid tells a local news outlet, "It's not over. We can't have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it's not over."

Time is the fire in which we burn.

The above should give serious warning to the Federal government - when total strangers volunteer to risk their lives in what could have erupted into open war.  As V says, " people should not fear their governments, governments should fear their people".

What a wonderful thing it might be if the Federal gov. was dissuaded by this emergent solidarity, without bloodshed, perhaps reacting as bullies that are secretly cowards.

Exclusive: Does Cliven Bundy Have Something Called "Prescriptive Rights", Why The BLM May Be Afraid To Go To Court

Quote
Montana cattle rancher Todd Devlin says the BLM is now considering new ways of dealing with the Cliven Bundy situation. Devlin, is not just Montana cattle rancher but is also a County Commissioner in Prairie County Montana and he has worked with the Department of Interior, having taught workshops for the agency in the past. Monday, Devlin reached out to his contacts in the Department of the Interior to find out why the Bureau of Land Management has refused to work with Bundy rather than simply attempting to run over him.

Among the questions Devlin asked of the BLM, "Is it possible that this guy (Cliven Bundy) has prescriptive rights?" The response from top officials at the BLM, "We are worried that he might and he might use that defense."

So what exactly are prescriptive rights? Prescriptive right to property is an easement that gives some one the right to use land owned by someone else for a particular purpose. An example is using a path through Party A's land to get to your land, a prescriptive easement is allowed which gives the user the right to get to his land through A's property.

In most states, if a trespass or use of land occurs regularly for at least 5 years without the "owner" of the land taking legal action, prescriptive rights come into play. Because Bundy stopped paying his grazing fees to the BLM in 1993 but continued to use the land for over 20 years, it is possible he now has prescriptive rights to the land. That might explain why the BLM has not taken this issue to court and never bothered to file a lien against the cattle.

I heard on aj from callers .that the blm was shutting down roads all throughout their managed land.this may be why.to take back that right.
Supposedly the blm will dump loads of dirt or dig a giant hole to keep folks from gaining access.no trespassing gov signs. even though its state public use land.if I'm correct.
ive never been much for rules.

Interesting...

That is similar to mineral rights.

If YOU own property but not the mineral rights (most people do not unless they are old family estates) then if I discover there is gold or oil under your property I can file a claim and you will have to LEGALLY allow me access to get to that gold...

Nice huh?

Normally this is handled by giving the land owner a percentage of the claim...  sometimes if the land owner is stubborn they dig underneath on a slant :D

There was a HUGE case in Northern Canada where a prospector working for a large mining company found gold (in a creek by the highway beside a popular rock collecting road cut site). After tracing the source, he found the owner of the land. It was a widow who just happened to own those mineral rights.  So he made a deal with her for 10% of the proceeds. She agreed

Well the mining company took it to court because since he worked for them any gold found should have been theirs... but since the widow owned the rights, the prospector had her right up the claim...

BIG case in court... mining company lost :D  I may look up that story and add it to the Treasure section

So old rights are very tricky and DO hold up in court

But BLM goons are NOT COPS so they have no business doing what they were doing with hired thugs

Yes it is PUBLIC land... hunters ATVer's campers, tourists... decades of history in that area from Early man sites to Depression Era tent cities to Anastazi sites. Petroglyphs, Spanish Gold aristas, old mines from two mining booms 1800's and again 1900'. Devil's Hole

We were on the telephone today speaking with Mike Adams (Natural News) - sitting in while Pete is on-location at BundyGate - and Patrick Henningsen (21st Century Wire) LIVE on the Pete Santilli Show (GNN) discussing BundyGate and are now posting the following exposé in it's entirety with appropriate credits.   :P

BEHIND ENEMY LINES: Hi-Res Images of BLM War Zone Exposes Fed's Military Fiasco at Bundy Ranch

April 16, 2014
SPECIAL REPORT
21st Century Wire

The US federal government evoked the fury of animal right groups over their shocking treatment of cattle at the Bundy Ranch, and may soon face legal charges of severe animal abuse in Clark County, Nevada.

Federal agency's treatment of residents at the Bundy Ranch this past week included tasering, beating, wrongful arrest, threatening residents with attack dogs, and mobilizing a federal paramilitary force whose barrels were trained on US citizens, all in all, spending at least $3 million of tax payer money in an effort to sell stolen cattle over state lines in Utah and California.

A legal argument has also been made that the US Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is now guilty of racketeering under the federal RIC) statute (Racketeer Influenced and Corruption Organizations). If all that wasn't enough, evidence is now emerging regarding pattern of extreme cruelty and abuse, and suspected culling of animals from the Bundy Ranch.

Nevada Assemblywoman Michelle Fiore has released new shocking information and images which document the horrors which BLM agents have inflicted on previously happy and healthy livestock.

Photo provided by Michelle Fiore

Michele Fiore
?@VoteFiore
Graphic Photo - One of many casualties from the #BundyRanch standoff. More to follow soon. #ShameOnBLM pic.twitter.com/G96lxmRece

During a live radio broadcast of The Pete Santilli Show on GMN, Fiore reveals new details of "the BLM's method of herding where they have slaughtered horses and cows. This time we have video of it, and pictures of it."

"I did post the first picture of one cow who was shot in the back of the head from a helicopter (photo above)."

I personally helped save a calf who still had an umbilical cord attached to her as she was separated from her mom. It is such a disgusting event (...)... they (BLM) don't herd cattle – they slaughter cattle."

'Abusively corralled'

"If you look at the stewardship of land, and herding of cattle, first of all these particular cattle that were grazing on 600,000 acres – understand that when the Bundy family would herd their own cattle, there would be water taps to where the cattle would go down to the water and herd them humbly and softly – no cruelty, no abuse, herding them to where the cattle could get injured".

"We now have an evidenced-based argument now with how the BLM cannot take care of that cattle. We have cows giving birth (in the federal pen) where baby calves have been stepped and killed."

"This is the BLM's practice. They herd animals with helicopters, ATV's, and shotguns... If any cows get out of line – they get a bullet in the back of the head".

"Make sure the BLM are off state land and make sure the BLM are not allowed to herd cattle again".

Mass graves

"Near their compound, right off the highway, they were digging holes (...)... They tried to bury some cows on the compound, but I guess they didn't dig the hole deep enough, so throw a cow in and they dirt over him and you have cows legs cows' legs sticking up out of the dirt".

Earlier this week GMN revealed a secret recording of the BLM Special Agent in Charge, Daniel P. Love, who had stated that the BLM have not killed any cattle. Fiore's reply to Love's claim: "He's a flat out liar, period."

It was confirmed by ranchers and observers last week of how the BLM and their "contract cowboys" had deployed aggressive practices whilst rustling the Bundy's herd, using tactical helicopters (image, below) forcing cattle to removal zones, often times driving cows uphill in 90F heat – a lethal practice known to cause tremendous stress and exhaustion to the animals, causing sickness and even premature death.

Last week, farmers suspected that BLM agents were also scooping up the dead animals with heavy equipment like Backhoe diggers, and either burying somewhere on the 600,000 acre public grazing land, or disposing of them somewhere off site.

In addition, reports by observers confirmed that spring heifers who were subject to abusive BLM tactics were forced to abandon some calves behind to hide in the desert bush (a common practice by mothers who are being rustled, who later can backtrack to retrieve their young) putting the calves at risk of death.

Critics now believe the BLM and Clark County Sheriff's Office could be facing a strong legal challenge for their reckless handling of the ill-fated operation underlined by a litany of both human and animal rights abuses.

New images of cattle rancher Cliven Bundy's tense standoff with the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) on Saturday afternoon  reveal how the armed agency's military operation configured to forcefully engage Bundy cowboys and their supporters who sought to liberate federally confiscated cattle over the weekend.

These exclusive images were taken by a GMN photographer positioned right above the action on the Southbound side of Interstate 15 near Bunkerville, Nevada.

Despite the BLM being instructed to leave the Bundy Ranch and Gold Butte area earlier that morning, the agency still insisted had a legal right to be there and that it would not let go of hundreds of cows it had already taken away from the Bundy Family.

Critics are asking if that 'legal right' also includes stationing a federal military force in Bunkerville.

Prior to this standoff, the special agent in charge of BLM's ground operations, Daniel P. Love, had issued a warning that any one who crosses the federal line in order to free the seized cattle – will be arrested. Love went on boasting his agency's advantage over Bundy supporters when saying,

"I've seen your numbers right now, you'd better hope that 10,000 show up."

It turns out that protesters needed far less numbers to overcome Love's federal army.

In the end, a Bundy's contingent of 150 cowboys on horseback and a few hundred of peaceful supporters – backed by a well-organised volunteer militia, all together, proceed to march past the BLM's line of demarcation to the entrance of cattle holding area, prompting the platoon of armed federal tactical teams to stand down and fall back.

This is the first collection in a three part series, showing the federal government's military build-up to Saturday's climax under US Interstate 15...

Part 2: BEHIND THE LINES – More Photos of 'DC Federales' – Preparing to Shoot Americans?

April 16, 2014 BY 21WIRE

SPECIAL REPORT
21st Century Wire

When Clark County Nevada Sheriff Douglas Gillespie left the podium at Saturday morning's press conference at the Bundy Ranch, he left Cliven Bundy and his supporters believing that federal soldiers working for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) would be 'standing down', only that didn't happen.

Was this is ploy by the BLM – to create a chaotic powder keg situation only hours later?

Why the BLM would withdraw from Gold Butte on the Bundy Ranch, but then secretly plan an huge armed confrontation – against Bundy cowboys and their supporters who were heading over to reclaim their stolen property – is astonishing.

Even at the moment of confrontation, the BLM did not appear to actually be fully standing down. What was the BLM expecting? Chief of the BLM issued a statement claiming that the absolute final stand-down order was given in light of 'safety concerns for the public and agents'.

Reports on the ground that day also confirmed that even more armed Federal reinforcements were on the way, but luckily were caught up in stand-still traffic ten miles out from the scene. What were they planning?

Exclusive photos supplied to 21WIRE by a GMN photographer positioned behind federal lines at the Battle of Bundy Ranch, further reveal the scale and scope of Washington's military operation on US soil.

Viewers can judge for themselves whether or not the US Federal government was playing a deceptive, deadly game with American lives - on both sides.

Here's a photo taken from the air of the BLM's secret bovine concentration camps. After this photo was released, the BLM ordered the FAA to shut down the air space over the ranch, creating a wartime "no fly zone" to prevent more pictures from being taken.

Is BLM a criminal racketeering operation?

Some have made a legal observation that the BLM, which falls under the U.S. Department of the Interior, may be guilty of racketeering under federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corruption Organization) statutes.

This photo was posted by Assemblywoman Michel Fiore. In a widely-shared tweet. Fiore says, "Graphic Photo - One of many casualties from the #BundyRanch standoff. More to follow soon. #ShameOnBLM"

During a live radio broadcast of "The Pete Santilli Show" on the Guerilla Media Network (GMN) Fiore revealed new details of "the BLM's method of herding where they have slaughtered horses and cows."

"This time we have video of it, and pictures of it," she said.

"I did post the first picture of one cow [that] was shot in the back of the head from a helicopter. I personally helped save a calf who still had an umbilical cord attached to her as she was separated from her mom. It is such a disgusting event ... they (BLM) don't herd cattle -- they slaughter cattle."

"If you look at the stewardship of land, and herding of cattle, first of all these particular cattle that were grazing on 600,000 acres -- understand that when the Bundy family would herd their own cattle, there would be water taps to where the cattle would go down to the water and herd them humbly and softly -- no cruelty, no abuse, herding them to where the cattle could get injured," Fiore continued.

"We now have an evidenced-based argument with how the BLM cannot take care of that cattle. We have cows giving birth (in the federal pen) where baby calves have been stepped [on] and killed."

"They herd animals with helicopters, ATV's and shotguns... If any cows get out of line, the get a bullet to the back of the head," she added. "Make sure the BLM are off state land and make sure the BLM are not allowed to herd cattle again".

She said she observed, near the BLM's "compound" adjacent to the Bundy ranch, that personnel there were "digging holes."

"They tried to bury some cows on the compound," she said, "but I guess they didn't dig the hole deep enough." She said the legs of some cows were "sticking up out of the dirt."

Greetings people of The United States and The World.

We are Anonymous.

Anonymous have been trying to uncover the real reason for the 200-man armed invasion of the Cliven Bundy ranch in Nevada by The Bureau of Land Management, BLM.

Anonymous has found that BLM is actually in the business of raking in millions of dollars by leasing Nevada lands to energy companies that engage in fracking operations.

This document from the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology shows significant exploratory drilling being conducted in precisely the same area where the Bundy family has been running cattle since the 1870s. The Gold Butte area is indicated on the lower right corner of this map and it clearly shows numerous exploratory drilling operations have been conducted there.

Whats also clear is that oil has been found in nearby areas and possibly even within the Gold Butte area itself.

It is, of course, customary for the U.S. government to bring armed soldiers to an oil dispute, such as Operation Iraqi Freedom during the American War on Terror. Despite the claims by the mainstream media, it is highly unlikely Heavily armed snipers, helicopters and militarized soldiers would have been invoked over "endangered turtles".

This BLM military operation of rounding up Mr. Bundys cattle is all about Oil Fracking leases that will make a lot of money for US Senator Harry Reid and his family.

It's also a huge coincidence that the new head of the BLM is a man by the name of Neil Kornze, who not only was he the former senior policy advisor on public lands issues to Dirty Harry Reid, who by no coincidence has recently worked on helping to craft a recent industry-friendly draft policy on Fracking for natural gas.

http://www.doi.gov/whoweare/blm-dir.cfm

Matter of fact, turns out Harry Reid has a corporate and industrial empire rigged for himself and his family in Nevada. Its no secret that Harry's way of profiting off his position is by using his influence to push through deals that help his family members. Senator Reid has got family representing virtually every major industry in the region.

This is not surprising of course.

In fact, kickbacks connected to the lucrative oil and gas industries has become the standard way to bribe politicians in the United States, which, as of 2014, is technically a Plutonomy, not a Democracy.

Using a federal agency to seize cattle, and physically intimidate and brutalize a family to facilitate that dirty deal seems perfectly legitimate to the crooks in the US senate and government. To their own devices they will always attempt to cover up the evidence but no more.

Anonymous will bring swift justice and punishments to these tyrants.

It's time to fight back, not with a federal army and concentration camps, but we will make the elite realise that we will be inside their local intranets, we will be inside their mail servers, we will be inside their web servers.

We will wipe them off the face of the earth by wiping their data and overloading their government websites by a new wave of DDOS, account password cracking and botnet attacks.

We will respond to their threats and violence with our technical espionage and our solidarity with the downtrodden.

The Elite's time of reckoning has come.

Oath Keepers Site Taken Offline after Renewed Call to Stand Watch at Bundy Ranch | The Daily Sheeple

TruthstreamMedia.com ?April 16th, 2014

UPDATE: A brand new message sent out by Stewart Rhodes as we were writing this says that the OathKeepers.org server, along with thousands of others, went down this morning caused by a problem at the data center that houses their site, and in the meantime, they are using an alternative site at oath-keepers.blogspot.com.

After sending out a new call to action and renewed call for all Oath Keepers to stand watch at the Bundy Ranch, the site OathKeepers.org has been taken offline.

In the urgent message, Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes wrote:

NOTE: First, at the moment things are quiet here. 99% of the rumors on the internet are either blatantly false or wildly inaccurate. No strong presence of federal agents has been seen. Remnants of BLM's recent sojourn here are still present, such as the lights they had put up at their "field-headquarters" and no doubt we are under surveillance of all kinds, but there is no overt, visible massing of federal law enforcement.

We are, however concerned that the domestic enemies of the Constitution that infest the federal government might try to take advantage of folks going home, and attempt to make a move on the Bundy family. We feel certain that they will want to try again at some point, perhaps in a different way, even perhaps by executing a dynamic entry raid to attempt to arrest the Bundys. And we have heard that this is being discussed, though I have not been able to directly confirm it. But it is a real risk.

Therefore, to prevent such a raid, or to at least throw a monkey wrench into any such plans and make it more difficult for them, we're doing the following:

1: We are calling on all Oath Keepers who can possibly get here to come to the Bundy Ranch to serve as volunteers on an ongoing, rotating watch. That is not because there is any great emergency, but is a preventative measure – sort of like doing a rotation on the DMZ.

I am urging each and every Oath Keepers member who can, to get here and spend a bit of time to ensure that the Bundys are not alone. We need boots on the ground. We want you here, standing watch, which is appropriate for us Oath Keepers since our motto is "Not on Our Watch."
...
The Bundys are open and very grateful for people coming to be there for them, and thus far the caliber and quality of the people who've been here has been outstanding. From all over America people of good character and brave spirit have come to help and have done honor to our American traditions. We want those types of people. We do not want hot-heads who are looking for a fight. We want "cool, calm, and collected" – the "quiet professional." Thank you for understanding. Yes, by all means, bring your rifles, handguns, and whatever other gear you think you will need to stand watch, and yes, that includes any cammo you think will work best.

2: A rotating vigil of state legislators and current serving sheriffs at the ranch. This second part of our plan is a continuation of what we've already been doing. Oath Keepers helped facilitate a number of legislators from several Western States traveling to the Bundy Ranch this past week. Sheriff Mack's Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA.org) helped ensure that some real-deal constitutional Sheriffs were also present on the side of the Bundy family.

(Cached page here.)

The timing of site's take down is curious to say the least considering it falls not only on the heels of the Oath Keepers newest call to action, but also on news spilling out all over the place that there are mass graves for the Bundy's cows killed by BLM and Senator Harry Reid's corrupt multi-billion-dollar dealings with Chinese energy companies over the real reason they want the Bundy's off that Nevada land in short order.

There are people concerned the situation unfolding out there could turn into the next Ruby Ridge or Waco Siege; however, those tragic events happened back in the pre-Internet days, when the government and its puppet media could more easily shape the narrative however they wanted to. Now we have instant communication, a strong alternative media base, and when it comes to a situation like this where the government is trying to run amok all over the Constitution, We the People have to keep talking.
